MG Nu Gundam

Welcome to my another Gunpla Build, today we're gonna building MG Nu Gundam. personally i never watched the series of this yet so i can't summarize you regarding the history of this gundam. i just picked it up randomly on my shopping card since most of my favorite kits has been solded out. T_T but anyways....

The Build

first of this kit is huge, way too huge compare to a recent master grade kits that has been released. the high is  quite similar though, but you can tell by the looks of its head its a huge gundam.

Finished Figure

the process of building the wing is quite hard, specially the decals application. you must be precise, i advice using a hobby knife or similar smaller knife when doing so. the wing is quite heavy too.

Pilot Modification

this is an older master kit, and just like any other older kits, the pilot does not have stand pre-built underneath it, using a dremel tool, i cut some from the spare plastic and a polish it using abrasive or a cutter, applying extra thin cement and let it dry for about a minute. 

Gimmicks & Tricks
theres not much trick in this kit, aside from detachable cockpit chamber, while the weaponry is not so vast either, just a pair of beam saber, a rifle and a shield.

Overall, its not quite bad, but its not quite good either, the design is awesome though, if you can find awesome pose for this, im sure, it will stand out. 

My iPad Crash!! Lost my Files!

so my ipad 2 is working just fine doing its thing like logging my worklog & recording important details, until i plan to update its jailbreak, following a guide from some jailbreaking site, i did it in hope to run some recent apps that runs on iOs5, but i fail misserably.

i usually do some backuping before doing so, but since i start usin an SSD on my desktop im cautious by remaining storage space, now i lost every important detail written on my previous setup. my iPad 2 is officially using iOS6 now, but returned to stone age (from the scratch)

just imagining my work progress there makes me sick....

MGSD Freedom Gundam

welcome to my another gunpla build, todays subject will be the Freedom Gundam, from the anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed & Mobile Suit Gundam Seed: Destiny, piloted by the main protagonist of the series Kira Yamato, previously i build the Force Impulse, and right after this new Model began, i need both Kits for my re-enactment of the Kira vs Shin fight at the MS Gundam Seed Destiny series. well then nuff talk let's starts....

The Schematics

the schematics is quite complex, the old style layout of the guide. which is quite similar to the force impulse.

Body Parts

the parts starting from the head until the leg is quite sturdy (well most every new build does) but seriously, they are quite hard to bend, its a good sign specially when presenting it for a difficult pose.

 

Gimmick & Tricks

much like similar to the anime series, you can flip off its wings, & just like any other Master Grade Kit, it has a cockpit for its pilot. the waist beam rifle can be bend and extend.

Decal's & Details
i quite messed up with the decals in some point, but i carefully & precisely get serious when it comes to the shoulder decals, as you may know people im not really a fan of water decaling technique im doing it straight away once cut, quite risky but with a help of some tooth picks its not so bad. and yeah by this time, i havent yet to recieved my twizzers & masking tape to hold the decals on the right position.

Weaponry & Arsenal's
similar to the tv series, Freedom has its waist rifles & the main Beam Rifle, including its popular shield. the twin additional beam rifle that comes from its wings, is quite tricky to deploy, you will need the proper adjustment of the wings and its height to get the most of it. this also includes two beam sabers and both hilts can be attached to the Freedom's waist part. like a normal sword.

Final Conclusion
This is a Great MG Kit, despite its other downsides, im very excited in re-enacting both Freedom & Impulse fight just like from its series, i will update both pages of the two presented Kits once done. 

Inflatable Boat Recieved!

been a while... ^_^, check out my new inflatable boat. hahaha, it came from my workplace, my boss ordered me to check it out if its still okay, after stocking in the storage room for almost 3 years. they have decided to throw it away, put it on a garbage bag, but ive decided to take it home.

it has a detachable pairs of paddling oars. and a foot pump, maximum kilo for this is 160k, about 3 adult person could ride at the same time. beach outing would be awesome with this. hahaha.

MGSD Force Impulse Gundam

welcome friends, to my another gundam build, today im gonna be building the Master Grade Force Impulse Gundam, from the Gundam Seed Destiny Series, here are the first look of the parts came out from the box.

the guide and my tool box, which has a sole purpose of storing all gunpla hobby related tools

sometimes its annoying for my to take a look at the laid down guide, so i think i could use my new board to good use.

Pros:

- As expect from Master Grade Series most parts are sturdy

- Garr Looking

- Lots of Gimmicks, parts are multiplied to small piece then can be build together in a fashionable way.

- Has quite a number of weaponry including the Long Sword, 2 Saber Swords hidden in the pocket like compartment of the gundam 

Cons:

- it has some additional parts, that would require you to buy an addons IWSP on its back as an extension.

- the Force Sillhoutte is quite heavy that would require an action base or balance stand positioning

- No Action Base

The Virdect:

- Overall its a good Gundam Kit, im building the MG Freedom Gundam now, and once its done i will post some garr looking fighting scene, just like how they use to fight in the anime series. mouchiron im an Kira Yamato Fan. ^_^ 2nd only to Athrun Zala (though infinite Justice is still out of stock)
